While going through my records, I discovered an error in our POS app that caused two different state taxes to be applied at checkout. Because of this, you were overcharged — and I am truly sorry.

Here’s what happens next:

  • If you paid with a credit card: you will receive a refund from Waterwalker Co. for the extra amount charged (Most amounts were 3.5% of the purchase, though I’m refunding 5% to cover it fully).
  • Refunds are being processed individually, so it may take up to 7–10 days to appear on your credit card statement.
  • If you paid with cash: please contact us with a list of your purchases, along with a photo of you with one of the purchases. 
  • Refunds for cash purchases will be in the form of a gift card.
